OROGOL is from two Yoruba words, 'Oro' and 'Golu.'
The Yoruba language is spoken in parts of Nigeria and Benin Republic, West Africa. Elements of Yoruba culture and people of Yoruba descent can be found around the world today from Africa to Asia, Europe to the Near East, The Americas, The Caribbean to the Indian Ocean.
OROGOL without the "u" in our context refers to the Golden Word. The meaning and the motivating factor behind the business and the name of our corporate entity remains the same; we treat all words as gold--our word to you and your words to us.
